三春物語８９番　「垢潜の河童」

三春城下北部、富沢に垢潜（あかしろ）という地域があります。
ここに伝わるお話です。




ある男が、垢潜を通りかかると、「オイオイ」と呼び止める声がするのでよく見ると、河童がいて「この馬鍬を取ってくれ　俺はこの穴さ帰って行くのだが　馬鍬が引っかかって入れない　この馬鍬をとってくれればお前の里の者は水難に遭わせない」というので、その出口に引っかかっている馬鍬を取ってやった。
それからその男の里の者は水難に遭わなくなった。
